The hidden gems of Spogo

With Spogo, you have so many great options for rewards–steak & cheese spring rolls, all you can eat wings, pitchers of beer as cold as the Rockies and much more.  But this isn’t all that’s out there.  Just because we love going to bars doesn’t mean you have to.  Here are a few hidden gems on the Spogo rewards marketplace that we think you should check out:

FREE ALCOHOL DELIVERY

Drizly-LogoYou’re ordering food for the big game with all your friends.  But, which unlucky friend has to be the one to hike out to the liquor store to grab the beer?  Drizly is an AWESOME iPhone app that fixes this problem.  Drizly is offering some FREE ALCOHOL DELIVERY rewards on Spogo, so check them out (if you are over 21, of course).

These girls are on a BuzzBus right now. Why aren't you?

5 Spogo Rewards We LOVE

If you’re reading this, you probably already know that Spogo is fun to play. If that is news to you, go ahead and download the app. Don’t worry, we’ll wait.

Are you ready now?  Here are just a few of the many awesome rewards you can win playing Spogo.

1. ALL YOU CAN EAT WINGS at Jerry Remy’s Fall River – 827 points

How do you think Anquan Boldin will follow up his 200 yard performance in week 1? Will the 49ers avenge their embarrassing loss to the Seahawks from last season? A couple quick answers and these wings could be yours.

2. FREE APPETIZER at Game On! – 1,000 points

Which Manning brother do you think will throw more touchdowns when they go head-to-head Sunday afternoon? Will Julius or Demaryius Thomas have a better game? We personally recommend these perfectly layered nachos for kickoff.

Holy guacamole, I’ve already jammed three fingers reaching into my computer screen to try to grab this amazing entree from Jose Mac’s.  Give me a few Spogo points and I’ll meet you there.

Enjoy your football Sunday, everyone. Tweet us your best predictions for this weekend @PlaySpogo, and remember: BEING RIGHT NEVER TASTED SO GOOD.

Football is back! Let them do the playing while you do the winning.

Welcome one, welcome all! Week 1 of the NFL season is upon us. While your favorite team is battling for the win, you could be winning too! Free wings, nachos, beer, and many other rewards just for watching a game you’re already planning on watching!

Here are your opportunities to play Spogo this weekend:

Saturday:

Boston Red Sox at New York Yankees (1:00pm ET)

The Red Sox have taken the first two games of this series in the Bronx. The Yankees are still trying to stay alive in the wild card hunt. Will this be the game John Lackey finally gets run support? Or will a healthy Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez give NYY a much needed win.

In defeat, John Lackey was once again excellent. (AP)

#14 Notre Dame at #17 Michigan (8:00pm ET)

Coach Kelly of Notre Dame made headlines by claiming this game was NOT a rivalry game. Well we still think this “big regional game” will be fun to watch, and with free food on the line, the game only gets more fun.

Sunday:

New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills (1:00pm ET)

Tom Brady and his completely retooled offense enter Buffalo to face a team with a new coach and a new highly touted quarterback in EJ Manuel.

Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints (1:00pm ET)

Two big NFC east rivals going at it. Drew Brees and the Saints have Sean Payton back. Meanwhile Matt Ryan and the Falcons want to build on their NFC Championship appearance from last season.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New York Jets (1:00pm ET)

Geno Smith gets his first career start at QB for the Jets. New era for Rex Ryan, or more of the same? Bucs fans get their first look at how Doug Martin will play in his sophomore season following a tremendous rookie campaign.

Green Bay Packers at San Francisco 49ers (4:25pm ET)

Rematch of the playoff game that propelled the 49ers to their second straight NFC championship game. Kaepernick ran all over the Packers defense in that game, and Clay Mathews is determined not to let that happen again.

Arizona Cardinals at St. Louis Rams (4:25pm ET)

Not the sexiest of match-ups, but plenty of NFC west implications, even in week 1. Also, Carson Palmer makes his first start as the Cardinals’ quarterback, with fans in Phoenix and Fantasy leagues everywhere hoping it sparks Larry Fitzgerald to improve over a disappointing last season.

New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys (8:30pm ET)

Both the ‘boys and G-men lost out to RG3 and the RedSkins in the NFC east sweepstakes last season. Both teams feel they should be in the playoffs every year, and they battle for a leg-up in the standings on Sunday night for the world to see. Oh yeah, and these teams hate each other – defenses will be hungry for interceptions.

Remember Spogo players, eyes on the prize!

Don’t just watch…. Well, actually, you can just watch this.

Usually we recommend you don’t just watch anything.  You should win while you’re at it.  But our new promo video?  You can just watch this.

Don’t forget to join us tonight for NFL kickoff–Ravens v. Broncos on NBC at 8:30pm (and a little Sox-Yankees action at 7pm).
